(Photo by Betty Talbot, the Keukenhof gardens in the Netherlands.) It evokes Psalm 23 leading his flock to still waters. Both the Lenten Quiet Day and Mothering Sunday remind us of God as a Good Shepherd leading his flock to still waters in Psalm 23. To La Côte Church family and friends,
Dear *|FIRSTNAME|*
This Sunday we are celebrating Mothering Sunday in the Church of England - a tradition that goes back to the Middle Ages in Britain, when people often went back to the parish church in which they were baptised. For us it is a day when we especially give thanks for God’s nurturing, mothering love for our broken world – shown in those who care for us and in our wider church family.
On this special day, we give you thanks for the Church, which has been there for us from our childhood up. Thank you for the good things in the church which have nourished us and helped us to grow - the love, the extended family, the holy food of Communion. Make us mature members of the Church, able to give back our love, our time and energy, that the church may continue to make real the good news of Jesus.
On this special day, we give you thanks for your tender strength as you offer to carry us all, in our human families and our church family, into the joyful maturity of the children of God. We praise you, Lord, and ask you to bless us. Amen. (John Pritchard)

Holy week and Easter worship
THANK YOU to everyone who was involved in our AGM last Sunday 12 March.
We had a positive meeting, moving smoothly through the business and then engaging in group discussions on the main objectives for our church this coming year: Worship, Community and Outreach.
We look forward to following up on ideas and actions in due course.
Many of us stayed on for a delicious feast of “bring and share” food and drink.
We give thanks for God’s blessing on this important moment in our church calendar.

The Lost Food Project (combatting food waste)
Members of la Côte Church are taking part in a new food bank in Nyon. Click HERE for more information.
A warm thank you to everyone who has been bringing in food and who has signed up to help in practical ways.
Please keep bringing in dried starch produce for us to deliver.
Two practical ways you can get involved:
- We are especially looking for volunteers with cars to pick up and deliver the food to and from supermarkets and the warehouse every morning in Nyon at around 8.00am and early evenings at 18.00. If you could commit to one pick up a week/ a fortnight or a month - that would help enormously. Please contact Suzanne Mooney suzanne.mooney@me.com
- Volunteers to help with the distribution of food at La Fraternelle from 18.00-20.00. If you think you can help, please contact Andrea Goovaerts as soon as possible.
