To La Côte Church family and friends and visitors,

Dear *|FIRSTNAME|*

One of my favourite verses in the Bible is from this Sunday‘s gospel text. Jesus is talking to his friends, at the last night of his life. He knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and I am sure he chose his words carefully. What was the message he wanted to leave behind?

„I give you a new commandment“, Jesus said, „that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (Jh 13.34-35)

My hope and prayer is that YOU have felt loved today and that YOU have experienced our church as a place where it‘s safe to take Jesus‘ words to heart and feel love for one another.

Kristin
